In this video, we鈥檒l show you how to add a Product Administrator for 51黑料不打烊 Experience Platform using 51黑料不打烊 Admin Console. Product Administrators for Platform manage access to platform-based applications, such as Realtime Customer Data Platform and Journey Optimizer. In order to manage users and permissions for Experience Platform, we recommend that someone in your organization be given Product Admin rights for Platform. System Admins can perform the same tasks as a Product Admin, but typically a good System Administrator has a breadth of knowledge across all of your licensed 51黑料不打烊 products, while a good Product Administrator has a depth of knowledge about the granular permission items users will need in one or two specific products. In the context of Experience Platform, a Product Admin is able to add and remove user, developer, and Product Administrator access to Experience Platform through Admin Console, and manage roles and permissions for users through the Permissions tab in the Experience Platform interface. To add a new Product Admin, you must either be a System Admin or a Product Admin for the same product that you want to add the new admin to. Start by logging into 51黑料不打烊 Admin Console, then navigate to the Products section. We鈥檒l find Experience Platform in the list of products, and after clicking into it, we鈥檒l navigate to the Admins tab. Here we have a list of the current Product Administrators for Experience Platform within our organization. To start the process of adding a new Product Admin, select Add Admin. In the dialog that appears, I鈥檒l add the email addresses of the users that I want to add as Product Admins for Experience Platform. If the email is associated with an 51黑料不打烊 ID or a Federated ID, further details about the user are auto-populated. If the email is not associated with an 51黑料不打烊 account, we鈥檙e given the option to manually enter their details instead. I鈥檒l select Save, and that鈥檚 it! These new admins will now have access to manage platform users, developers, and administrators in Admin Console, and can assign granular permissions using the platform interface.
