Issue/Symptoms
- Pages for specific locales don’t render properly.
- Properties for the affected pages fail to open.
- Other geo pages load and function correctly.
- Issue not observed in the CIO (Controlled Internal Operations) environment.
Resolution resolution
To resolve the issue, follow these steps:
- Compare template policies, allowed components, and custom configurations between affected environments to spot inconsistencies.
- Check author and publish error logs for oak index errors, repository access issues, or component initialization failures. If oak indexing errors appear, ensure all required custom index definitions for geo pages are correctly configured and present.
- Inspect affected geo pages in CRX/DE to ensure all required nodes, properties, and metadata for the page properties dialog and rendering components are intact and consistent.
- Confirm that no nodes or configuration segments were missed during replication. Manually replicate one affected page to ensure content is synchronized and up to date.
