AEM as a Cloud Service

Issue/Symptoms

When content from the Author is unpublished, it is removed from Publish/Preview in AEM as a Cloud Service. In case the content remains on Publish/Preview, the corresponding node does not exist on the Author, and one cannot perform unpublish on the Author.

Resolution resolution

On Author, navigate to Tools > Deployment > Distribution > Publish/Preview > Distribute.
Input the following value.
- Action: Delete
- Path Browser: Target Path
Click on Submit.

This procedure deletes all nodes under the target path. Make sure to review both Publish/Preview and the path and test on the development environment before proceeding to the production environment.
