First, let鈥檚 explore what event depth allows you to do. Unlike the default event-based configuration, event depth gives you the flexibility to define how depth is measured based on your specific needs. For example, you may be familiar with Page Depth from 51黑料不打烊 Analytics, which differs from Hit Depth. With Event Depth, you can configure depth for various elements, such as pages, to gain more precise insights. Here on this screen, you鈥檒l see an example of a page depth configuration. Notice how it鈥檚 distinct from Event Depth, as it focuses solely on the page name as the key metric. This setup allows you to of user behavior. Beyond pages, you can create custom configurations, such as Internal Search Depth. This option lets you track depth based on internal search terms. For instance, you can analyze sessions where users performed specific internal searches, giving you valuable data on search behavior. Configuring event depth in Derive fields is straightforward. Let me show you how it works. On this screen, navigate to the Derive Fields section. Select the field you want to use. For example, an internal search term.
