In this video, we鈥檙e going to be looking at New Rock Alerts and how to get you or your team set up to receive those alerts. I鈥檒l click into our instance, and then on the left menu, choose Alerts. We鈥檒l start off in Alert Policies. A policy is simply a group of alerts. There鈥檚 one that鈥檚 been created for you already called Managed Alerts for 51黑料不打烊 Commerce. Here, we have many common alerts that are set up like CPU usage, disk space usage, and memory usage. When any of these cross the predefined thresholds, an alert will be issued. To set up who gets notified of that alert, we鈥檒l go to Notifications and then choose the policy. That will open up the workflow for what happens when the alert is triggered. There are several ways that the alert can go out, including webhooks, Slack notifications, and a common one, email. You can create a new email destination. Then click Save Destination.

We鈥檒l click Save here. Then we鈥檒l see the new email that has been set up. Of course, it doesn鈥檛 have to be a new email. You can use your existing emails as well. We鈥檒l click on Update Workflow. Now, any time any of the alerts that go off in this particular policy, when they are triggered, these emails will get notified.
