Time zone management timezone-management
51黑料不打烊 Campaign Web UI displays all date and time values according to the local time zone of the user鈥檚 web browser. This behavior may lead to differences when comparing timestamps between the Web UI and the Client Console.
This section explains expected differences between the Web UI, Client Console, and workflow execution time zones.
Key concepts
-
Server time zone: the server time zone corresponds to the time zone configured on the server鈥檚 operating system. All timestamps are stored internally in UTC on the server.
-
Client Console behavior: the Client Console displays timestamps using the operator鈥檚 time zone, defined in the operator鈥檚 settings. By default, this corresponds to the server鈥檚 time zone.
-
Web UI behavior: the Web UI displays timestamps using the browser鈥檚 local time zone. When a user changes the browser or system time zone, displayed date/time values automatically update.
-
Workflow behavior: workflows interpret local timestamps based on the workflow鈥檚 configured time zone. If not specified, the server鈥檚 time zone is used by default.
Example
2025-10-20 14:00:002025-10-20 21:00:00 (for browser in UTC +7)In this example, both interfaces reference the same underlying UTC timestamp, but each renders it using a different time zone.
Impact
Differences in displayed times can appear in:
- Profile or data fields containing
datetimevalues - Delivery logs or contact dates
- Workflow execution and import timestamps
The underlying data remains identical. The difference is only in rendering.
Recommendations
To align display values across interfaces, you can:
- Change your browser time zone to match the operator or server time zone.
- When exporting data (exports use UTC), ensure consistent conversion in reporting tools.
- When designing workflows, explicitly set the workflow time zone in activity properties for predictable scheduling and import behavior.
- Communicate to business users that timestamp differences between Web UI and Client Console views are normal and expected.
